As I wrote in my blog post “Me and My Bernina“, sewing has literally gotten me through thick and thin over the years, especially here in Switzerland.

Over time, I’ve seen the sewing landscape in Geneva sharply diminish. But encouragingly, while larger outlets closed their sewing departments, small independent entrepreneurs have bucked the trend and opened shops with a small, but high quality array of fabrics and notions, and many offer their merchandise online.
